On a personal note...
My patients have described me as "professional meets wholesome Midwest gal", unconventional, and intuitive.
I tend to attract women in transitions, highly sensitive people, trauma survivors, first born daughters, and spiritual seekers.
I create a safe space where people can regulate their nervous systems, release stagnate emotions and pain, and remember their purpose. My approach is patient-centered, meaning I work collaboratively with you to identify and achieve your optimal level of health. I also give you 100% of my time and attention during your appointment - no double or triple booking patients in an hour.
Whether you're at wits end with chronic pain, navigating life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, or needing help with women's health concerns - I'm here to support you every step of the way.

In my free time, I enjoy trying new food and beverage outlets, outdoor activities, traveling, yoga, and cheering on the Detroit Lions during the NFL season!
On a professional note...
Dr.Michaela's (DACM, MSTOM, L.Ac) background merges integrative physiology, nutrition, herbology, trauma-informed care, and energetic diagnostics. Her two specialties are psycho-spiritual (with or without chronic pain) and women's health.
Chronic pain is rarely just physical; it often holds deeper emotional and spiritual roots. Unprocessed emotions, unresolved experiences, and limiting beliefs can become “stuck” in the body. This creates patterns of tension, inflammation, and discomfort. Over time, these hidden layers manifest as persistent physical pain that doesn’t fully respond to Western treatment. Chronic emotional pain may only heal to a certain extent with talk therapy or journaling. Dr.Michaela helps pinpoint and move the stagnant emotional energy out of the body. She also teaches her patients what emotions are linked to parts of the body and physical symptoms. Furthermore, she gives her patients herbs, food therapy, and home exercises that continue decreasing the stuck energy outside the appointment.
Dr.Michaela also helps females tune into their internal intelligence and achieve whole body harmony. She helps females understand body literacy and be the most powerful version of themself in every stage of life. She helps females from their first period through their last navigate gynecological pain, fertility transitions, miscarriages, postpartum, gut issues, acne, injury recovery, psycho emotional burdens, and energetic depletion.
Dr.Michaela graduated with her master’s and doctorate degrees from the Pacific College of Health and Science. She completed clinical rotations at UCSD Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital, and Jesse Brown VA Hospital. In addition, she’s a Mental and Emotional Release® talk therapist, pranayama breathwork facilitator, reiki practitioner, and certified yoga instructor.
